Q. Why choose SMART learning?

We are passionate about learning and are committed to providing training courses that makes a difference both to our clients and the individuals we work with.

Our training programmes are designed to be entertaining, thought-provoking and highly effective for achieving greater success. We believe that learning should reflect real-life, but capture the energy that it requires to make the transfer of knowledge as easy as possible; through people learning as a result of wanting to learn.

Q. Who delivers the training?

Our team of trainers are experts in their field, with lots of experience and a real passion for learning. Q. Where are open courses held?

The majority of our open courses are held in the tranquil location of a Mansion House in Bedfordshire, which has easy links with the A1 and a mainline railway station. Contact us for further details. Click here to see the latest Open course dates.

Q. What time does the course start/end?

Open courses usually start at 09:15 with coffee and registration and finish at approximately 16:30.

Q. How many people will be on my course?

At SMART learning, we believe courses run best will smaller delegate numbers. For the majority of courses, the maximum amount of delegates will be around 12 delegates. For Presentations Skills Training Courses the maximum number of delegates will be in the region of 8.

Q. Do you run courses at another venue?

Any of our courses can be run at a venue of your choice, exclusively for your own people. We also offer tailored and bespoke training.

Q. What level of service is offered for in-company training?

In-company training is a bespoke service we offer to clients. You decide exactly on the course content you wish to be included. We will assist you with this if required. Next we design a training programme with clearly defined business and course objectives, together with a training plan.

Q. Where is in-company training held?

The location is your choice. We can run training on-site or provide suitable training venues to suit your preferences and budget.

Coaching in the workplace
In-house programmes can be developed for individuals or teams within your workplace.

Managed training services
For larger organisations we can manage as much of your training activities as you require.

In-company training
All courses can be tailored or bespoke to fit the needs of your organisation. We will work with you to clearly define your training requirements, and then design a course to fit those needs.

We want every client to feel 100% happy with the service we offer. Throughout the training process we work hard to qualify specific training objectives and put in place measures for achieving success. We measure training effectiveness by using the Kirkpatrick Model of evaluation.

The Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model

  1. Reaction: how participants have reacted to the programme
  2. Learning: what participants have learnt from the programme
  3. Behaviour: whether what was learnt is being applied on the job
  4. Results: whether that application is achieving results

Q. Are there any funding opportunities for training?

Q. What are your booking terms and conditions?

Payment of Invoices. All payments are due 14 days before the start of a course.

Cancellations & Transfers. Courses are run with small numbers for maximum effect. Cancellation/transfers after places have been confirmed will incur an administration charge of 10% of the full course fee. Cancellations and transfers within 14 days of the course start cannot be accepted. Substitutes can be made at any time up to start of course without cost penalty.

Sending a booking via the on-line booking form constitutes acceptance of these booking terms and conditions.
